Hey there! My first day of maternity leave was a success! I took my car in (convinced my butt warmers are underperforming ), got a prenatal massage (and scored 3 more, averaging $55/hr…nice!), sweaty semi-HIIT elliptical workout, and a wee bit of Cyber Monday shopping. All in all a darn good day. Let’s hope today is too.
I’ve sort of been slacking on Shoes-Day huh? I blame Sawyer. I am having way too much fun spending my money on him rather than my coveted shoes. But don’t you worry, there will be plenty of new shoes in my future – hopefully after I feel a bit less frumpy.
Last November I showed you a great pair of black suede boots I snagged in Rome.

I always forget I have these, but remembered to resurrect them for one of my last days of work last week:
I paired the boots with my Pea in the Pod wool maternity skirt, a Forever 21 cami, and a black cardi sweater from Express. Easy and perfect for the season.
I’ve decided these boots will be making more appearances in my day-to-day life as they are super comfy, and heck with this belly weight, my feet are definitely pleading for a bit more comfort. Thanks to a wider rubber heel, these are quite comfy even at 3”+.
What makes a shoe/boot comfortable for you? Heel height? Size of heel base? Material? Arch?
