Friday’s tragic events in Newtown, CT rocked me to the core. I was drawn to the tv, hurting for those little lives lost. For the families and friends that loved them. For their futures they cannot fulfill. This act was so senseless, so cruel. I cannot wrap my mind around it. And I can only imagine the horror those within the school experienced. And the bravery of the teachers that did their best to protect the children. My heart goes out to all of them…these little Christmas angels…

It is just … beyond comprehension. I can’t watch the coverage without feeling physically ill, but I’ve been keeping informed online and cannot even count the number of times I’ve cried. Such a horrific tragedy.
