Hey there
Monday was a sloooow day for me. I started the day with some Skinnygirl yoga before work and managed to squeeze in a cardio session once Zach got home and took over with the Bean. Sadly I negated both by having one too many spoonfuls of cookie butter (damn you Trader Joe’s).
Thanks to Shop It To Me, I found these adorable shoes that I’m still contemplating purchasing:
I’m totally drawn to sandal booties and love these Max Studio ones with the asymmetrical cutout and zipper/button back. Too cute, right?
And the price is great to boot (pun intended).
The only downside is that there isn’t free shipping and free returns. I get so spoiled with Endless.com (and the like) and really abhor the idea of having to return a pair of shoes via traditional methods. Clearly not a huge deal, but it’s put me on the fence with them.
So the question is…
To buy or not to buy?
You already know my opinion, but I’ll state it again just for the record. Buy! Hehehe
Haha “for the record”. I’m leaning towards black now since I think I have an abundance of grey shoes..hmmm
They looked more nude than grey in the link you sent me before, but I think they’d look great in any color. I’d probably tend toward the lighter colors myself (either nude or grey) because black booties, unless I wear them with pants or dark tights, seem to visually chop my leg off and make me look thicker. :-/
Hmm that’s a good point..but I probably would be pretty selective with how I wear them. Most likely a skinny jean?
Hmmm it IS scarier to buy when you don’t get free returns! They are super cute though!
I know — the safety net of free returns somehow helps. But how many shoes have I returned? Hmm maybe 2 pair out of 200???
I loved the look of gladiator sandal heels, but I tried on a pair this weekend and they looked rediculous on!
Oh no! I have some bootie sandals that I like already, but you never know with things you order online.
I think they’re adorable, and I would totally buy them. But I’m a bad example that way. I’m a total impulse shopper.

The answer is yes. I just saw Stacey London from What Not To Wear wear them on tonight’s episode. She paired them with a turquoise dress and BOOM, gorgeous.
