What to say, what to say

Hiya friends

So, I’m been MIA lately huh?  I have to say I just haven’t been feeling the blog.  I’ll feel motivated early in the day and then when the evening rolls around, I feel like I have no time or desire to create a post.

And to be completely honest, I’ve been in a bit of funk.  I really think a lot of it has to do with weaning of breastfeeding, thus no more happy oxytocin keeping my mood up.

I’m trying to find ways to combat the emotional change, but it’s been a little rough.

Luckily I have this little face to look at everyday:

My friend Jennifer took these of the bean and P while watching him so that Zach and I could go out for our anniversary dinner.  How cute are they?

Speaking of the dinner, we went to Sent Sovi in Saratoga by another friend’s reco (thanks Priya!).  Any restaurant that offers prix fixe and tasting courses catering to vegetarians is alright by me.  Both Zach I decided to create our own 3 course prix fixe and were quite happy with our entrees…here’s a little snapshot:

Other than that, I’ve started personal training sessions.  I plan on going once per week for ~10 weeks with the goal of losing about 10 lbs and reducing my body fat percent and toning up of course.  And based on how I still feel sore today, I think she’s doing a good job Winking smile

This weekend I plan on doing a little Cinco de Mayo celebrating – any excuse to eat Mexi is a-ok by me!

As for future posts, I’ll play it by ear, but I may have to get some more posts up about bean =)
