I can’t help but notice that your blog resonates obsession with weight/body image and materialism; I’ve never met a woman (who is expecting) that made a list of ‘push presents’ that she wants. Also, you were going for the right idea with your Christmas card, but you forgot to button your shirt.
Wow, I’m glad you are so much in the Christmas spirit of love and kindness with your comment. If you’ve been a long time reader, you would understand that I’m far from materialistic, but you are certainly entitled to your opinion.
And I am quite proud of my large belly (hence not focused on body image) which is why my shirt is open.
I hope you are able to tune out my blog and find others that are more pleasing to you.
One can button all of one’s buttons some of the time,
and some of one’s buttons all of the time,
even some of one’s buttons some of the time.
But when some or all of one’s buttons,
are not all or some of your buttons,

Hi Shanna! I have been following your blog for about a year now and this seems like a wonderful time to post my first comment. I am a recent college graduate and now a full-time engineer (and most recently, wife!) and I have found a difficult time in keeping the femininity and excitement in my life while working in such a male-dominated and analytical world for 40+ hours a week. I just wanted to stop in and say that you and your blog are quite an inspiration to me and make me feel like I am not alone in having a technical mind and career, and holding my own working with the boys, while still enjoying all of the best parts of being a woman!
On other note, I am anxiously awaiting to hear about Baby Sawyer! Wishing you all the best!
