Hey there! My first day of maternity leave was a success! I took my car in (convinced my butt warmers are underperforming 
), got a prenatal massage (and scored 3 more, averaging $55/hr…nice!), sweaty semi-HIIT elliptical workout, and a wee bit of Cyber Monday shopping. All in all a darn good day. Let’s hope today is too.
I’ve sort of been slacking on Shoes-Day huh? I blame Sawyer. I am having way too much fun spending my money on him rather than my coveted shoes. But don’t you worry, there will be plenty of new shoes in my future – hopefully after I feel a bit less frumpy.
Last November I showed you a great pair of black suede boots I snagged in Rome.

I always forget I have these, but remembered to resurrect them for one of my last days of work last week:
I paired the boots with my Pea in the Pod wool maternity skirt, a Forever 21 cami, and a black cardi sweater from Express. Easy and perfect for the season.
I’ve decided these boots will be making more appearances in my day-to-day life as they are super comfy, and heck with this belly weight, my feet are definitely pleading for a bit more comfort. Thanks to a wider rubber heel, these are quite comfy even at 3”+.
What makes a shoe/boot comfortable for you? Heel height? Size of heel base? Material? Arch?
Which do you prefer: Boots with skirts or boots with skinny jeans?

I think the shoes that are most comfortable for me are boots with a wider heel at 3″ or less. But I’m still wearing skinnier heeled pumps till my body really starts to complain. Hehehe
I can do the skinny heel for a few hours and then I’m dunso. I’m finding a new love for flatter shoes. Who am I???
You are such a chic mom-to-be!! I prefer boots with skinny jeans usually, but that’s because my legs are sort of stumpy so I would never wear them with a skirt. Looks cute on you, though!

I did just buy a pair of boots yesterday though! My sister deemed my black Steve Madden ones from last year “not cute.” She got the gorgeous hair and the fasion sense in the family — no fair!

I would wear boots & jeans as a uniform if I could. But to be clear, I’d rather go with jeggings or some other socially acceptable form of pajamas.
I rarely if ever wear skirts, so boots with skinny jeans are my go to. I love those boots! I find ones with a lower heel are better for workday wear but have been known to dance the night away in 4″ boots.

Loving that outfit and I really love boots both with skirts or skinny jeans! And for me comfy boots are all about the height, I wish I had feet made for high heels but I just can’t do it all the time so I love boots with a low heel, or a wedge, or flat!

Flat(ter) boots have been so lovely lately. I am trying to hold back from buying too many more because I’ll expect the heels will be back in full swing soon enough.
Over the knee boots — YES! Go to Endless.com, pick shoes, then boots, the over the knee, narrow to your size, and then your price range and tons of cute ones will pop up. I’m coveting quite a few.
