I’m excited for this Tuesday! Why? Because I finally have a new pair of shoes (boots) to show off 
Not too long ago, I posted about some boots I was coveting. Really it was just a matter of time before I succumbed to the need to buy one of the pair. You know how it is.
And many of you just happened to like the boots I was loving the most:
Oh hello Nine West lover! Oddly enough, a few days after I posted about this boot, I saw it at Macy’s and was able to try it on. That sealed the deal. Loved it. It was $200 at Macy’s, but that day they had 15% off. Thanks to the wonders of smart phones, I checked on endless.com and saw they were having 30% off select boots (including these).
Soooo, I scored these $200 ‘Clara’ boots for just $140. Yeah, that’s a huge win.
I wore these boots Friday night to Zach’s boss’s house for dinner. In the outfit mix are skinny jeans from Motherhood Maternity, black ribbed tank also from Motherhood, and Express cardi. Note how high the boots come up – they literally hit mid-knee and I love that. It’s such a different fit than so many of my other boots.
And you can definitely see the red tone in the shots below:

I’m pretty happy I bought these guys and think they are going to look even better with leggings, which I’m guessing will be my go-to pants soon enough here.

gotta love the magic of smart phones! awesome deal! i love the red tone. Most of my boots are black, tho I do have a greyish taupe over the knee pair. But this year I am going through a camel/cognac phase! Still looking for the perfect pair!
These boots almost have a bit of cognac coloring to them, but camel boots are a must! I’ll be so sad when mine get too worn out!
I definitely go for chocolate. I like the idea of shopping online but I never do it for clothes. Things like DVDs or books are fine, but with clothes I just know I would get the wrong size.
I’ve always had really good luck with clothes online, but I also like to buy from places that have an easy (and free!) exchange policy, just in case

Love the boots! I just bought a pair of dark brown (chocolate) to go with brown tights and some cute skirt I got for fall and look nice for work. Last year I invested in reddish-brown boots and I love them – perfect with dark jeans and neutral colors.
I always check online while shopping, in fact the brown boots I just got were $150 at Macy’s and marked at $99 on Piperlime with free shipping, SCORE!!!

I always lean towards a camel shade myself, which reminds me, I sorely need to find a pair. Boot shopping is always so traumatic for me!
I’m the queen of buying things in the store, taking them home and “researching” and then returning them in the store if I find a better deal online. I’m about to do that very thing with this Jessica Simpson jacket I bought at Macy’s. Same jacket is at Dillards and priced $150 LESS. What is up with that?!
