I have a Sunday post for you! Weekend recap coming tomorrow, but here’s a post I’ve been stalling on…
A couple of weeks Stefanie, at the The New Healthy tagged me for the 7 links post….so here it goes! (You know the rules, so I’m not going to repeat them)
Most Beautiful – First human looking pictures of our little boy
(And I say human, because previous ultrasounds have looked a little alien-like…ha!)
Most Popular– Shoes-Day post on nude shoes. Julie at PB Fingers was in quest for nude shoes, and I recommended one of my favorite pair. As a result, I got tons of hits for this post, and still get a few a day!

Most Controversial – ? Sorry friends, I’ve got nothing here. I do specifically stray away from topics for a number of reasons, one of them being my career. One debatable post was Why the scale is my friend.
Most Helpful and Most Proud – Weight matters series Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 I’m proud of these posts because I was brutally honest about my highest weight (144lbs) and lowest weight (103 lbs). Even though I’ve never had an eating disorder, I have struggled with self-image, my weight, and unhealthy eating habits. These posts really resonated with others and shows it is possible to find your “goldilocks weight”.
Surprise Success –Pregnancy 1st Timester – Good, Bady, and Ugly. You all seem to love the nitty gritty details and the untold truths (whatever the topic). I’ll be doing some more posts like these ![]()
Not Enough Attention – Egypt on my mind. This post came un the heels of the turmoil in Egypt, when we couldn’t turn on the news without hearing of the riots in Tahrir Square in Cairo. I wanted to show the beauty and wonders and serenity of this amazing country. It is easily the most unique place I’ve traveled and think it’s a must at least once in your lifetime.
Okay, 7 links are done – that was hard work!
Have any other posts stood out for you?
Oh and I joined twitter (meep!
). You can follow me at @Shanlikebanana If you have a twitter account, tell me your name so I can follow you too!
Great links post for a new reader!! ALSO, love the Egypt pictures. It’s a dream of mine to go there someday!
So glad you posted the link for the Egypt post! I’ve always been so interested in Egypt, I think it’s beautiful!
Yay! Sunday post
I get a lot of people who search for “Google Images” and since i sometimes use their pictures – I get random hits to those posts – so it’s not because people want to read them
…cute cat pictures is commonly searched. Blech – I hate stats and stuff anyways. Depressing.
GREAT round up! I haven’t read some of these. Must do now. I love that outfit too! Re: your job – it seems like you love it though? I should shut my big mouth about my own already! Oye.
Also – does your family and friends, co-workers read your posts? Know about your body image/weight previous struggles?
I followed you on twitter.
Second, I do agree about staying away from controversial posts. No need to get peoples panties in a bunch.
I’m with you on not having any controversial posts! I like to keep things neutral and somewhat positive.
Well I have to say I love your pregnancy posts so far!
