I promise I won’t turn this into a baby blog, but since it’s all still so shiny and new for me, I want to share a little bit more.
A few people asked if I’m showing or gaining weight. The answer is a little…to both.
In the morning I wake up and my tummy is relatively flat, but by the end of the day I swear I swell up a few inches in circumferences and my pooch (aka belly bump) is more evident. It’s all below the belly button at this point. I should note that I am very short torso-ed, so it will be interesting to see where my weight gain will go – there ain’t much room!
As for weight gain, as I’ve mentioned before, I have a pretty wide range of weight that I can reside in. I prefer to stay in between 114 – 118 lbs (again I’m 5’4.5”), but I’ve also been known to reside above 120 lbs after the holidays, one-too-many fat kid moments, etc. That being said, I am now just a couple pounds above my preferred weight range.
And admittedly, I’d say maybe 2 of the 4 lbs of weight I’ve gained is because I’ve been eating too much in the evenings. I’ve been a bit of snack monster, what can I say?
I’m still working out ~4x’s per week, but noticeably only able to give about 90% my norm. But it’s all good!
So here’s a handful of photos from week 1- week 14. I didn’t do the side profile of the bump because, well there isn’t much to see, so perhaps you can see,from a random assortment of my daily outfit photos, any differences (Click to enlarge)
(Cats outta the bag that I take pictures of my outfit daily I do this to keep track and know when I wore something last. I didn’t take any of these photos with the intent of sharing them with anyone, but it’s close as I’ve got to “baby bump progress pics”)
