Another lover

I think it’s pretty clear I like to eat a lot.  I actually enjoy the process of it all.  It’s more than a lil fantastic.  So unless I want to weigh 450lbs, I have to make sure that the massive amounts of food I like to consume are relatively low in calories.  This can be difficult with items like PB, mexi food, granola, etc. 

But, I shall introduce you to my new lover: 

Oh kisses tortillas

 

You see my husband is in S. Africa for the World Cup and I’m left with nothing but food to show my affection to.  Oh and my pets too ;)     When I found these tortillas at Nob Hill Grocery and turned the package over for the calorie count, I think I might have looked around for a hidden camera because these guys are only 50 calories each!  OMG!  You’re kidding me!  I’m sooo in love!  The beauty of tortillas is they are a fabulous bread, muffin, bun, wrap replacement too.  I’ve been eating them with some of these (sometimes with BBQ sauce!): 

45cals and 8g protein tofu hotdogs

 

And eat this faboosh salad tucked inside like a wrap:

In the salad are chickpeas, broccoli slaw, carrots, green onions, sunflower seeds, feta, cracked peppa and balsamic 

If those aren’t enough ideas, you can can do what I plan to do and use one or two of these babies along with some salsa to make a quesadilla :)

So all that being said, I think I want to order these tortillas  in bulk.  Mmm, I’d even like to slather it with some Maple Almond Butter and roll in a banana for a pre-workout snack.  Darn it, I’m drooling again ;)  

Help me find more amazing foods that won’t break the calorie bank!
