Not every day is going to be food-post-worthy so I thought I’d turn my Tuesday posts into Shoes-day posts
Am I clever or what (insert sarcasm here)? I like how Shannon at The Daily Balance has a theme for each day of the week
I love shoes. No matter how much weight you gain or lose, shoes still fit. Now, mind you, I have not been preggers, nor would Perez Hilton circle my tummy for a baby bump watch, so perhaps my shoes won’t fit so great then, but for now, bring on the foot beauties!
Here are my shoe stats:
Shoe size: 7.5 (but when trying on shoes in a store, I can fit in as low as 5.5..scary!)
Number of shoes: 50-ish?
Oldest pair: Kenneth Cole boots from 2002 (wore them all over Italy in Feb and they’re still kickin’!)
Favorite pair: can I really answer this? My favorite pair changes all the time
Most coveted pair: Christian Louboutins, which I don’t own yet ![]()
Number of ballet flats: 3 (never thought I’d have any!)
Number of pair over 3.75″: Approx 35
Favorite shoe websites: Piperlime, Zappos, Endless, Shoes.com, 6pm.com
So in honor of Shoes-day, here are the shoes I wore to work today: grey 3.75″ peep-toe heels, brand = Madden Girl, purchased last summer. Opting for grey is a nice alternative to brown or black and gotta love sporting the girly frills at my engineering job
Oh and let me tell you about the wonderful vino I had last night! My sister-in-law Carly visited Cali in April and brought us a fabulous Tuscan blend from Castello di Amorosa in Napa. Pinots are my go-to wines, but I’m always up for a swig lady-like taste of something new. This 2005 gem is well-balanced, dry, fairly tannin-y, and has flavors of dark berry. Yes, I really do taste all that. Having a glass of vino nightly has attuned me to all the nuances!
